TLR means this car was designed with the help of Team Losi Racing. With Team Losi Racing, also owned by Horizon Hobby, they decided to put the two brands together to create a high-performance buggy.

Introducing the TLR Tuned Typhon 6S 1/8 4WD RTR (Available in Red or Blue), an off-road buggy designed to be faster and tougher than ever before. This new addition is the perfect upgrade for those looking to take their RC experience to the next level. What sets this car apart from its predecessors is the TLR TUNED 7075 T6 hard anodized aluminum chassis with a laser etched logo and TLR TUNED suspension dynamics, both designed to make the car faster and extremely durable. This new addition to the Arrma product line is recommended for use with either a 4S or 6S Lipo battery. This RC car comes with the Spektrum SLT3 Tx/SR315 Rx 3 channel (Dual Protocol Version) transmitter.

It features a new brushless electronic speed control (ESC) with a three-way adjustable speed profile, allowing you to select the speed that is best suited to your driving style and the terrain. It also includes a high-performance motor and drivetrain, with a fully-sealed transmission and hardened steel gears. The TLR TUNED 7075 T6 aluminum chassis and TLR Tuned suspension dynamics provide enhanced durability, reliability, and better control and handling. Plus, the included high-traction dBoots Exabyte tires and lightened  17 mm Hex wheel rims help to maximize grip and keep you in control. The car comes with a new ARRMA body with an exclusive paint scheme of Race Spec colors.

The previous versions of the Arrma Typhon had proper speed and performance and a nice streamlined body, but the Ultimate Typhon Upgrade looks to change all of that, providing you with an RC car that is faster and tougher than ever before.

IV. Installation and Set-Up

Installing and setting up the Ultimate Typhon Upgrade is a relatively simple process with the RTR version, but there are a few important steps that you must follow. Firstly, you must prepare your RC car. Are you going to drive it on road or off road? This includes ensuring that all of the necessary parts and tools are present, adjusting suspension and ride height and ensuring that the battery and charger are compatible with the electronic components.

If you consider replacing the motor for even more power, please be aware that the maximum motor size is 43mm diameter, 80mm length. With more power comes more responsibility. This is also the case with RC cars. 

Included for installation: Cross Wrenches and Hex Wrenches (1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 5.0mm), IC5 Loop connector (for use with single 4S or 6S battery pack), 4 x 'AA' Batteries.
