Who are we?

Ralf Neels is an RC enthusiast and a professional Audio-visual engineer with 20+ years of experience in audio-visual projects and 10+ years blogging and online marketing. Also, Ralf is active in music production as an electronic music artist.

He tried many times to sharpen his writing talent with some freelance reporting and reviewing online, only to find the conundrum of too many hobbies and too little time to master the arts.

Ralf has a technical background and education in electronics and he loves his wires and soldering iron. He spends the little free hours in his workshop to create his own world to small scale. 

Ray Schuit is an eloquent man with a lot of RC experience, mostly aviation oriented. His experience dates back to the 70's with 27Mhz transmitters and crystals, balsa wood airplanes with paper covers. 20 years of RC flight experience under his belt. These days it's RC helicopters of all sizes. He learned it the old school way, without simulators. RC is in his blood and he is prone to shed his light on technical details.

Furthermore, he has a natural talent for presenting and interviewing and he knows his way in the RC scene, related to clubs, cups and events. Ray is a self made man and an entrepreneur with many traits which benefits the endeavors of RC Playground.

Mission

Together, Ralf and Ray are binding their skills and experience to bring you the best in the world of RC, by seeking out the odd balls, the nerds who eat circuit boards and remote controls for breakfast. They look up the news and the latest technologies, the dusty attics with vintage RC equipment, the clubs and racing fields, the RC stores and shopaholics. Everything RC and beyond!
